The short version: use Folium fairly, treat every diagnosis as a starting point rather than a verdict, and your content stays yours. The detail follows.
Model diagnoses are not lab tests. Confirm with a local agricultural officer before applying treatment.
Folium is a crop-disease assistant. Upload leaf photos for an AI diagnosis, chat through symptoms and treatment, and keep your conversations in history.
Temporary chats are ephemeral by design: they are never saved to history and disappear when you leave.
Every diagnosis is a model prediction with a confidence score. It is not a laboratory test. Always confirm consequential decisions, especially chemical treatments, with a local agricultural officer before acting.
You agree to use Folium lawfully and fairly:
You register with an email address, verified by code, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials private. Turn on two-factor authentication and review your active sessions from Settings.
Tell us promptly through in-app support if you suspect unauthorised access.
You keep all rights to the photos, files, and messages you upload. You grant Folium a limited licence to store and process them solely to operate the service: running diagnoses, keeping your history, and restoring saved bookmarks.
Content in temporary chats is processed for your reply and then discarded, never stored.
Conversations and bookmarks persist until you delete them. Deleting your account from Settings permanently removes your account, chats, bookmarks, and uploads.
Folium's branding, interface, and underlying models remain ours. Nothing here transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.
Folium is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for crop loss or other damages arising from reliance on AI guidance. That is exactly why independent confirmation matters.
We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be noted here with a new revision date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
